Yes it's that time of the year again. Another year gone by so quickly and it was Yasser's birthday this week. But the thing is, when you have so many other things to organise for your own child's party,it's not possible to create such a spectacular cake(well for me anyway). You could always make the cake days ahead but personally, I like to have a freshly baked and decorated cake! Yasser turned 5 and he likes many different things at the moment but he specifically asked for a "Super why" cake..For those that aren't familiar with this character/tv programme,it's from Nick Jr and is aimed at children from ages 3- 6 and teaches critical reading skills. The characters help others in storybook village a place where fairy tale characters reside. So that's where the idea for the book shape comes from with Wyatt jumping out of it just like in the programmes.And yes the book is not a perfect shape in the programme so I have tried my best to make my cake a little wonky too!
